I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but has anyone read the Thomas Covenant series by Stephen Donaldson? I'd like to hear your thoughts. Ex.[/quote:1wfkzse6] I'm a easy guy, I even like WoT that so many hate, but Thomas Covenant is one of the few books I couldnt even finish. view post
I was so sad that akka and esme didn’t get together again at the end of the book, I’m such a sucker for happy endings and while this isn’t the end of the story, I would have been so happy if akka and esme would have ended up together again. But mr. bakker still has a book to make it alright, and he better or else…
Love of knowledge, just as the dictionary says. Then it gives a long, rambling definition but that's about all you need right there. Philosophy is a tool for understanding, borne from said love of knowledge.[/quote:34kujopz] I would say not love of knowledge, but love of knowing, wanting to know. view post
I don’t really know yet,(and will I ever know by life?) I think you will continue, but the questions is how, I don’t think we will continue as a earthly persona (though it is not lost, as time does not exist and everything is NOW and will be every NOW), but will continue as the whole of being that you are. (even now but you don’t realise) What the relation between the life you have lived here on earth and your continuing life elsewhere is I don’t know. view post
