Welcome to the new writing exchange forum. Here is how it will work: If you have a piece you would like to discuss, begin a NEW thread titled preferably with the name of your piece. In your first post, introduce your piece, give any necessary background information or the like, and ATTACH your work. DO NOT copy it into a post, as it will make people's eyes fall out in agony and give us a huge database. After reading someone else's work, comment on it by replying to their post. Please do not start other threads about the same piece of work, the idea being to have one thread per story, poem, what-have-you. Respond politely and constructively in a helpful manner. If a topic comes up in a discussion that drifts from the piece to a general literary topic, start a thread in the Writing Techniques forum. Any commentary regarding the function of this forum is to be posted as a reply to this announcement. when you're posting a post look in the "attachment Posting control panal" right above the preview and submit buttons, Click the add an attachment button, browse for the file, then hit add attachment. view post

Is there a criteria needed to be met before you can post(an attachment) in this forum? It currently says I can do everything but that, here, though I can post attachments in other forums. view post

I'm guessing this is due to me just registering with this site and being completely new, but I was hoping to read some posted works, but cannot seem to find where the writings are attached to the topics... If anyone more experienced in this site's workings happens to hear this, any help would be greatly appreciated! view post
