I've been just reading the exchanges between that wet blanket of an Emperor Xerius and his mother. Some Emperor and some Queen Mother! Hasn't Xerius any wife? This Mighty Sparrow-shooting Emperor looks far more a fool than the representative of Conrya he's been receiving. How could such a laughable wimpy wet weed have become Emperor at all? No wonder his Empire is on a downfall! view post

Indeed...one thing I wonder is if Xerius' mother favors Conphas, why not move to secure Conphas as the reigning emporer? She did the same to secure the position for Xerius' III did she not? view post

The Emperor is quite aware that his mother and his nephew might try to kill him. He did, after all, murder is own father and then there was his reception of Conphas after his victory. view post

He's not an idiot. He's raised in an atmosphere where everyone acts like he is an apect of god, even when they are plotting to manipulate or kill him. He's a narcissitc paranoid, but that's not abnormal for being raised in that enviroment. view post

Maybe not, but i do think he believes himself a god, or would be one given the opportunity. He certainly holds himself above [b:3f8eaq2r]all[/b:3f8eaq2r] other men. He may not be a complete idiot, but i dont think he is one of the Three Seas great minds when it comes to subtlety and politics. view post

No one here is arguing that he isn't screwed up. He's damaged goods alright, just the kind of person you don't want to have near absolute power. Not that a lot of the alternatives are much better. Conphas isn't exactly a nice guy. view post
