i'm trying to recruit some people for a battle recreation group in toronto. www.torvik.org. if anyone is unterested, PM me. tho i think the only person is EE and he's all busy with school.. but hey, it's worth a shot. view post

just for the hell of it i might as well comment about it... sword fighting is so much fun! i still have a few bruises on my arms, but i kicked some ass too! this is definitely something that i will pursue seriously. the group travels throughout north america doing demonstrations, as well as participating in an annual recreation of the battle of hastings. as well as combat shows, they also do living history, with costumes, food, living spaces/homes, etc. very very fun and interesting, and now i can say i know how to fight with a sword. so you best not be pissing me off! view post
