do you use your hair as a form of expression or does it just sit on your head like a loner? personally, my hair is a form of expression. I use my hair to tell people that i am quite mad in the head. I also use my hair to store objects like pens and nest small birds. once i went camping on a river a a racoon came out of the woods and really tried to nest in my hair... anyway, i was wondering about your hair....just because view post

yes and no. i definitely used to. my hair has been as many colours as i can think of, and i once stored an entire set of pencil crayons in my ponytail. i used to put a lot of work into it, i think one school year i never had the same hairstyle twice. now, my hair is pretty plain in comparison. i don;t dye it, so the natural red-gold highlights have been coming out, and my hair is kinda curly so it gets all wild lookin cos i don;t brush it. it rules. i wish i had a good photo of it. view post

totally. i do tend to stick paintbrushes in there sometimes... oil paint is shit to wash out tho so i try not to do that so much. view post
I am sure it is hard to wash out of your hair. Might I suggest next time not putting paint brushes that have paint on them in your hair. It's just a thought. view post

actually it wouldn;t matter. when i paint i end up getting it all over me, cos i go smudging things with my fingers and wiping it off on myself. off topic.. i'm currently working on my first commissioned piece, it's almost done and i'm getting a sizeable chunk of cash for it.. and i'm very excited. the painting is totally awesome. i really should start working on some PoN inspired pieces, as i have a bunch of little canvases lying around. view post

I think my hair says...Hey I'm a woman and I am a mom. I do it up when I go to a local social event like once a year, but I just don't care to spend time on it. I have better things to do. Like sit here and post about my hair 
It has red highlights (thanks to a little help from Clariol) and it says, sweet and saucy. It is naturally curly so it just does its own thing, especially if it rains, so that is sort of the.....Wild hair thing, free spirit and what not. I don't think I planned for my hair to say that..but it does. Which suits my personality I suppose. I don't take the time to make my hair express anything else but maybe that is an expresssion in itself...that I am a natural woman......

here, here. i wash and condition my hair, but i don;t style it, or even brush it. wait, unless ponytails count as a style.

Not brushing your hair is a style I guess 
Pony tails do not count as a style but they are cool for pulling and are a great way to make fun of your sisters. I used to ask my sisters what's under neath a pony's tail. That always lead to them trying to hit me. You just ask a simple honest question and off they go with physical violence.

my hair does not look unbrushed.. i brush it with my hands, and sometimes before i wash it to get rid of stray hairs.. but brushing my hair makes it pretty frizzy... view post
Same here....in fact the less I brush it the better it is. I usually comb it when I first get out of the shower, but just let it hang after that. If I have to "comb" it, like if I go outside and the wind blows it around, I wet it down and put some mousse on my fingers to restyle it. I knew what Gierra was talking about. I wore pony tails a little in my hair before I cut it over a year ago, parted down the middle and gathered behind my ears. If I have to pull it back now, my favorite is to wear a baseball cap and pull the hair out the back through the hole. Or gather it all up in big clip in the back. But if I do put it in pony tales or pull it back and clip it ..and go outside in humidity..I have little curls that spring up all over the top of my head like a red-topped Q-tip!!!! There is an episode of (gasp I know it is low-brow) Friends, when they go to the Bahamas and Monica's hair went crazy...getting all frizzy and huge like a white girl afro. Well...it is true...that happened to me when I went to Georgia one September. I thought it was an exaggration on TV...but it wasn't! view post

i don't do anything with my hair....besides brush it and wash it.... although i do, do it up for special formal ocassions otherwise i don't bother mostly because i have to use a whole can of hairspray and another of muse just to get it to stay up for an hour! it's so fine that all it can do is hang strait!!! my hair disguests me!!! view post
