I just finished reading The Thousandfold Thought. I think Scott's trilogy is an example of just how mature fantasy and its fan base has become. I thank-you Scott for once again taking the genre to a higher level.
One of the most intriguing parts of the whole trilogy for me were the dream/nightmares of Akka as Seswatha. The imagery produced shivers. I would like to see Scott do a prequel to the PON series.
My question though is this: What is the significance of Akka's final nightmare when the king does not pick up the heron spear? Is what comes after actually having an effect on what comes before? view post
