The Sranc remind me the most of Jordans 'Trollocs'. Except not as big and lumbering. I know it's sad to compare Bakker to Jordan, but... oh well :lol: view post

I'm only about 360 pages into the first novel but so far it's Conphas. He's just full of charisma. I also admire his intelligence. Maybe it will change later on, but we'll see view post

He's not a fantasy author, but give Chuck Palahniuk a shot. He wrote Fight Club, and is one of my favourite authors. His stories are very dark but are also damn funny. view post
