Site Failure posted 07 November 2005 in General AnnouncementsSite Failure by Sovin Nai, Site Administrator

I have taken the first step in updating the forum, though it may continue changing over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully we have reached the end of the login problems. The style will be up and running as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience as we have dealt with the problem, we're both college students and very busy; we love this site and are not neglecting it.

Enjoy. view post

Your Response To the PoN posted 04 February 2006 in General AnnouncementsYour Response To the PoN by Sovin Nai, Site Administrator

I am looking for responses to be posted online from readers of the PoN. Responses should be polished, or at least contemplated, and no more than 100 words. They can be your reaction to the trilogy as a whole, or one of the books. No spoilers please.

Thanks, I'll let you know whose I use, depending on the numbers it may be all of them.

Well, something worked. Google ranks us at an 'importance' level of 3. It was zero when we started and has been climbing. view post

Spam posted 02 October 2006 in General AnnouncementsSpam by Sovin Nai, Site Administrator

I have turned off guest posting, and am working on deleting members who have demonstrated themselves to be spammers. However, when I delete the users, there may be residual posts left. Their author will be "Anonymous" Guest. These are not new posts, just leftover posts with no author. Let me know when you find them and I will delete them.

Thanks for all of your patience. view post

A Song of Ice and Fire to Become TV Series posted 21 January 2007 in Literature DiscussionA Song of Ice and Fire to Become TV Series by Sovin Nai, Site Administrator

I think this is a very exciting development. But perhaps more important than the series itself is the potential impact it could have on TV. If ASOIAF is successful, as I'm betting it will be, a whole new world of television will have been started. Think of all of the series out there which would make fantastic episodic shows. Some of them might make for better viewing than reading. This is a big deal. view post

Availability?? posted 09 June 2008 in NeuropathAvailability?? by Sovin Nai, Site Administrator

I believe it is either not yet out, or just out. Amazon.ca has it listed for 3 June, .com for 28 May, but I'm not sure those are right. view post
