Dont be ashamed (Harry Potter) posted 04 August 2005 in Literature DiscussionDont be ashamed (Harry Potter) by *42*, Commoner

I like them a lot. I started with Prisoner of Azkaban, to see what the big deal was. I admit it hooked me. It is great that she is getting kids to actually read! gasp! I also like how she is bringing the kids along, making them just a little more mature,(dont belive me, go back and re-read the first one) yet still makes it enjoyable for kids and adults.

What subgroup of speculative fiction do you prefer? posted 04 August 2005 in Literature DiscussionWhat subgroup of speculative fiction do you prefer? by *42*, Commoner

I dont really have one. I just kind of go with whatever mood I am in. I like a little of everything from Homer to Harry Potter. Thoughtful, fun, or just plain wierd, I try it and the old grey matter determines the value. view post
