Not a question, just congratulations! posted 04 Nov 2005, 14:11 by Nemesis, Commoner

"Wow" is the only word I can think of that might do justice to Mr. Bakker's work. George R.R. Martin has got NOTHING on you! It's so refreshing to read a work that actually deserves all the praise it has received! So here's looking at you! 'Looking forward to the next volume! view post

To answer your question, I live in Moncton. Lived in Toronto for a few years, downtown near the Dundas West station area. Yeah, I'm completely hooked on Mr. Bakker's work. It's been a long, LONG time since a fantasy author has been able to grab me from page one and not let go until the very end. Not only does he craft remarkable plots and characters, he actually writes well... which is more than I can say about certain other big-name grand poobas of the genre. But hey, that's just my opinion. view post

I wonder how much a full length novel written in the author's blood (or perhaps the blood of a certified hot virgin) would go for on ebay..... rofl :) view post

ROFL! One has to truly appreicate being able to discourse with an author in this manner and the whacky topics that come about because of it. view post

Book Signing posted 19 Nov 2005, 01:11 by kevin, Commoner

Yeah Scott, any chance you might be doing a book signing in Fort Walton Beach Florida ? Didnt think so, some of us dont live anywhere near Ontario. There is no way I can say " Honey I am taking a weeks vacation and heading to Ontario to get my KickAss book signed " I believe my shit would be in the front yard before I left. Thats why I believe some of your fans would be willing to send a check for an autograph "index card, book marker, napkin , tissue or replica heron spear. Hey if the Highlander tv series can make theres why not you. Anyways the check is coming. view post
