"Wow" is the only word I can think of that might do justice to Mr. Bakker's work. George R.R. Martin has got NOTHING on you! It's so refreshing to read a work that actually deserves all the praise it has received!

So here's looking at you! 'Looking forward to the next volume! view post

"Entropic existence" sounds so much cooler than "Nemesis"... To answer your question, I live in Moncton. Lived in Toronto for a few years, downtown near the Dundas West station area. Yeah, I'm completely hooked on Mr. Bakker's work. It's been a long, LONG time since a fantasy author has been able to grab me from page one and not let go until the very end. Not only does he craft remarkable plots and characters, he actually writes well... which is more than I can say about certain other big-name grand poobas of the genre. But hey, that's just my opinion. <!-- s:mrgreen: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt="" title="Mr. Green" /><!-- s:mrgreen: --> view post

Thank you, Nemesis!

I still think Martin has me licked in the storytelling department! That man knows how to spin yarn. view post

I wonder how much a full length novel written in the author's blood (or perhaps the blood of a certified hot virgin) would go for on ebay.....

BTW when TTT is released do you know if you'll be doing any book signings in Toronto? view post

Yeah Scott, any chance you might be doing a book signing in Fort Walton Beach Florida ? Didnt think so, some of us dont live anywhere near Ontario. There is no way I can say " Honey I am taking a weeks vacation and heading to Ontario to get my KickAss book signed " I believe my shit would be in the front yard before I left. Thats why I believe some of your fans would be willing to send a check for an autograph "index card, book marker, napkin , tissue or replica heron spear. Hey if the Highlander tv series can make theres why not you. Anyways the check is coming. view post
