Exhaustive Concordance for the PoN series posted 14 Mar 2006, 05:03 by Edge of Certainty, Subdidact

I was thinking, awhile back, that an "exhaustive concordance" for the PoN might be of use to the forum. It would just be a list of any place, physical feature, war, battle, major and minor factions, and a few of the minor characters metnioned in all of the PoN books and all the places, including page numbers, paragraphs, and sentences, that they're mentioned. I just thought it might come in handy for when topics about the books come up that you don't remember specifically reading, or if you want to bring up a topic but you don't remember where it was mentioned, or whatever. Yeah, it might take a while to make one, but I'd be willing to work on it now and then....since I'm currently unemployed and have nothing better to do.... :D. So, what do you think? I'm open to any suggestions, also, of anything else I could put on it. view post

Do you mean a sort of wiki for the forum? Like wikipedia? Yeah, that sounds great. view post

Yay Wikipedia! A WikiPrince, then? And then we can put an entry in Uncyclopedia for giggles. view post

Ok, I decided that what I described before was more than I could take on....hell, peanut butter jelly is really more than I can take on right now...such are the woes of unemployment.....don't get me wrong, it has its pros too. But so many people are talking about making an encyclopedia for Earwa that I figured someone else could do a better job than me....someone who's not doing it solely out of boredom :) . I'm still interested tho, how many of you want this...earwa wiki... view post

yeah, that would be nice and very helpful. although be sure to put up some spoiler warnings, as some people who heaven't finished the series yet (such as i) might stumble on something... and if you do decide on making it, i wish you all the best, as making something like this would take up LOTS of time and effort. view post
