I just re-read this. Did anyone else notice that the whole mentality of the pedofile (and later the Anasurimbor victim) of "There are no crimes when no one is left alive," merges perfectly with the motivation of the Consult?

I just thought that was very well done. A great thematic bone right in the beginning. view post

Yeah, I've been mulling over what that guy meant since I first read it.

When I hit the part where the Consult Synthese says the exact same thing to Kellhus while it was possesing Esmenets body, I was kinda going "What the hell?". view post

That's exactly what I did! Every time I thought about TDtCB, it was always those words that came first to my mind. I had been wondering whether they had any purpose outside of the prologue, in the bigger picture. Then it all just clicked in TTT. What a great moment. view post

IMO it seems just an example of the hhuman psyche that has gone through Apocalypse. It's just an example of how the inchoroi aren't all that different from us right?
More opinions plz. view post
