I voted for "cease to be," but I know that the Kabbala refers to the highest, most distant part of the divine as Keter (Crown), and this part also symbolizes nothingess. For creation (of the universe in general, that is) to occur, there must be a void for it to fill, yes?

Ceasing to be, then, is equivalent to reunification with the Godhead. view post
