I had some very good microbrews when I was on assignment in Toronto and Montreal. But it sure as fuck wasn't Coors.

For my money, Fat Tire Ale is one of the greats. Too bad it's damned near impossible to find East of the Mississippi. Thank the gods someone just drove east with 5 cases in their trunk.[/quote:ao0000mc]

- Steam Whistle
- Nickle Creek
- Le Fin De Monde
- Anything by Pumphouse Breweries
- Anything by Picaroons

Those are some of my favourite micro's from Southern Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic Provinces

I've heard good things about Fat Tire but have yet to sample it myself.

If I'm going to drink mass market beer I'll go with something by Sleeman's, Moosehead, or Alexander Keith's for my Domestics. Heineken, Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, Kilkenney, Tuborg, Stella, or something like that for imports.

Anybody who drinks Budweiser, Coors Light, Bud Light, et al should bot be allowed to buy beer... ever. view post
