Try thinking about it this way: Every thought we have is the result of something or some things that happened previously, and every choice we make is similarly influenced. After all, would any of us be thinking about this topic if we hadn't been reading it? And would we be reading this topic if we were not already on this forum? It seems to continue endlessly in this manner.
