Ugh I feel so...common, saying this, but it's undeniably true: Harry Potter got me into not just fantasy, but fiction in general. Shortly after I read The Hobbit in the course of a single Saturday (I was, like, 12 when that happened, so I was proud of that). Somewhere along the line I discovered Mythago Wood, which introduced me to the realm of more adult-oriented fantasy. I've been hooked like a fish ever since. view post
